前言 Foreword

本港學校和家長普遍重視音樂教育，學童開始習樂的年紀更是越來越小，要啟蒙年幼的小孩子喜歡上一件樂器，並能夠掌握演奏技巧，在台上發揮潛能，談何容易！我們感到業界確實需要研發一套適合本港學界的教學模式，連繫及裝備有熱誠的教師，共同提升教學成效，因此我們成立了MPHK，結合兒童音樂教育和藝術行政視野廣納人材，盼望以音樂培訓工作回饋學校，以至社會。

Music education has become important among parents and schools in Hong Kong, with a trend that children start to pick up a musical instrument at a very young age. It is never easy to make young children love a musical instrument, help them master playing techniques and unleash their potential.  We sensed that there was a pressing urge, within the industry, to develop a teaching model that, in general, is suitable for schools in Hong Kong, and could connect passionate instructors to achieve higher teaching outcome. Therefore, MPHK was set up. Combining scopes of childhood music education and art administration,  we hope to serve schools and community with effort of music training.

我曾經以自由職業者身份到多間學校擔任器樂導師，發現這個行業很需要有心人願意投放更多努力及資源去發展課程和良好的人力資源管理模式，及維持穩健的財務實力，最後，我選擇了成立Ｑin Music及MPHK，實踐我心中所願，讓受聘的導師、學校、家長、學生、持份者都能受惠，我們不是完美，但我承諾我們不斷尋求進步。

Long time ago, as a freelancer, I taught instrument classes at various schools. I discovered that this industry deserves passionate people to put effort and resources on developing curriculum and building a better human resources and financial management model. Then, I set up Qin Music and MPHK to realize what’s in my mind. I wish our program is able to benefit instructors, schools, parents, students and all stakeholders. We are not perfect, but I promise we always strive for improvement.
